After two very disappointing defeats, Lichfield will look to bounce back again when they face yet another new team, Derby RFC, at Cooke Fields this Saturday (19th November).

Derby finished 2nd last season in Midlands 1 East but were promoted after they narrowly won the Midlands 1 play-off match. They have started life in National League 3 Midlands very well this season as they currently lie 3rd in the league after having won 6 and losing 3 of their opening 9 games.

With this no doubt going to be a testing game for the Myrtle Greens, the Lichfield 1st XV team are urging as many supporters to get down and support them in their attempt at a moral boosting 3rd league victory of the season(kick-off 2.15pm).

If you would like to make an afternoon of it, the club are looking to encourage as many members and their families, plus non-members to come and join us for a pre-match meal at the cost of £10 per head, payable on the day for the food.

You will enjoy a good three course meal, with choices to hopefully suit any palate. If you go home hungry then it will be personal choice, as there is always lots to eat if you want to!

Please let Ian Bascombe know on 07973 192590 or (ian@squirrelpfa.co.uk) in advance, if you would like to attend, so he knows the numbers to cater for.

Timings for the pre-match meal are; arrival at 12.30pm, meal at 1.00pm and kick-off at 2.15pm.
