The Myrtle Greens continue the search for their first league victory of the season when they travel to Leicestershire outfit, Syston RFC this Saturday (1st October).

Last season, both sides won close home games against each other, Lichfield prevailing 27-18 at Cooke Fields and Syston pinching it 28-17 at theirs. Sitting just one point above Syston RFC in the league table, alongside the fact both teams have identical records in the opening four league games so far (lost three and drawn once) it looks like it will be a fascinating, close contest on Saturday.

Bearing this in mind, the 1st XV team would like all the support they can get in their attempts to get their first league victory of the season. So, if you can support Lichfield this coming Saturday, kick-off is at 3pm at Syston RFC who play at Barkby Road, Queniborough, Leicestershire, LE7 3FE.
