Miller Homes Midlands has secured its latest victory by sponsoring a Lichfield-based Rugby team.

The housebuilder, which has developments across the region, including Roman Heights and Cathedral View in Streethay, will now see its logo appear on the Lichfield Rugby Club scoreboard and ground signage for the 2017/2018 competitive season.

Hope Insall, sales adviser at Miller Homes Midlands, was joined pitch-side by the club’s president, chairman and team captain, to celebrate the unveiling of the new scoreboard.

Alastair Parsons, area sales director for Miller Homes Midlands explained:

“At Miller Homes, we aim to not only create high-quality homes for the local communities in which we build, but also to add to the surrounding areas. By supporting local organisations like Lichfield Rugby Club, we’re helping to enhance the already thriving community and provide opportunities for current and new families in to the area, who have a passion for sport.

“From everyone at Miller Homes, we wish the club every success for the future, both on and off the field.”

Lichfield Rugby Club president, Barry Broad, said:

“On behalf of the club officials, I’d like to say a big thank you to the team at Miller Homes for sponsoring us. The support of local businesses is vital to the continued success of our club and the young individuals who represent us each weekend.

“As a result of this donation, we’ve been able to really focus our attention on the action on the field, continuing to nurture our talented players. This investment will set us in good stead for future seasons to come.”
